About Lisa

Lisa has lived in the greater Fredericksburg area since 1974 and believes it to be one of the top places to live, work, raise a family, and retire.  She taught in the local public school system and was a career law enforcement officer culminating in retirement as a Captain.  First responders, like our military, are held in highest regard for their service.  Lisa attended the University of Mary Washington for her undergraduate degree and the University of Virginia for her master’s degree.

 

She is a firm believer that a real estate agent must be more than just a realtor.  Her teaching experience has given her insight into our local public and private school systems.  Her law enforcement experience has given her in depth insight into neighborhoods, locations & crime statistics which can help you choose the safest and best location for you and your family.  It also provided her innate skills into detail and negotiation which serve real estate transactions well.

Lisa received her real estate license in the mid 90’s and has also earned the designation of Associate Broker.  Lisa holds RENE (Real Estate Negotiation Expert), PSA (Pricing Strategy Advisor), CPRES (Certified Probate Real Estate Specialist), SRES (Seniors Real Estate Specialist), ABR (Accredited Buyer Representative. and SFR (Short Sale Foreclosure Resource) designations to set her apart from the rest and to afford you compassionate, accurate assistance in your real estate needs.  She also serves as mentor at Samson, helping other newer agents be successful at their business as well and also as a caoch to fellow agents to help them achieve their highest potential.

 

She is very active at her church and belongs to several fraternal organizations that give back to our community. In her spare time, she loves travel, reading, golf, tennis/pickleball/racquetball, paddle boarding, kayaking, sailing, exercise, Virginia wineries and restaurants and photography.
